We’re seeking a Head of Business Development (Layer-1 Blockchain) to lead and scale our BD strategy, build high-value partnerships, and define the growth architecture of ChainGPT’s Layer-1 ecosystem.

This role requires deep blockchain fluency, a strong network across Web3 ecosystems, and proven leadership in structuring ecosystem-level partnerships, validator networks, and cross-chain alliances.

What You’ll Own

As Head of BD, you’ll own the strategy, structure, and execution of ChainGPT’s Layer-1 business development initiatives. You’ll work directly with the executive team to align BD objectives with protocol growth, ecosystem expansion, and cross-chain positioning.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the BD Strategy: Architect and execute the multi-phase growth plan for ChainGPT’s Layer-1 blockchain — including validator onboarding, ecosystem expansion, and institutional partnerships.

  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage the BD and Partnerships team; define KPIs, deal frameworks, and performance benchmarks.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Forge high-impact relationships with Layer-1s, Layer-2s, rollups, infrastructure providers, and venture networks.

  • Ecosystem Alliances: Represent AIVM in strategic alliances, grants, and co-GTM programs across top ecosystems.

  • Deal Structuring & Negotiation: Oversee partnership deals, validator agreements, and ecosystem collaborations from origination to execution.

  • Cross-Team Integration: Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Labs, and Engineering to align BD outcomes with product launches, developer campaigns, and co-marketing efforts.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of proven success in Business Development, Partnerships, or Ecosystem Growth within Layer-1 / Layer-2 / Core Blockchain environments.

  • At least 2+ years in a leadership or head-of-department role managing teams and BD pipelines.

  • Deep technical and economic understanding of blockchain architecture, validator models, tokenomics, and staking economics.

  • Strong network across blockchain foundations, ecosystems, VCs, and infrastructure providers.

  • Experience negotiating and executing multi-party ecosystem deals, co-marketing campaigns, and on-chain integrations.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills — equally comfortable presenting to protocol leads, investors, and developers.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, capable of operating autonomously while aligning teams around clear objectives.

  • Bonus: Background in AI x Web3, modular chains, or white-label infrastructure.

    1. Salaries are paid in fiat currency via direct deposit on a monthly schedule, with payments issued on the first business day of each month. This structure ensures timely and transparent compensation aligned with local financial systems.

  4. Probationary Period:

    1. All new employees will undergo a 90-day probationary period, which serves as a mutual evaluation phase. During this time, both the employee and ChainGPT can assess fit, performance, and long-term alignment with the role and company.
