# Boosts & Missions

{% hint style="info" %}

## Boosts & Missions&#x20;

Boosts are multipliers that increase the points you earn across Buzz's reward buckets (Buzz Links, On-chain Quests, In-app Quests). Boosts **apply to future points** after they become active (not retroactive). Eligibility, multipliers, and which buckets each boost applies to are campaign-configurable.
{% endhint %}

### How boosts work

Boosts sit on top of the v2 bucket model. Points are earned from verified outcomes (qualified clicks, verified conversions, verified on-chain and in-app events), and boosts multiply those points in the buckets each boost is configured to apply to.

A few things to remember:

* **Future points only.** Boosts never apply retroactively. Unlock boosts early so more of your points benefit.
* **Buckets vary by boost.** Some boosts apply to all buckets, others only to specific ones (e.g., Buzz Links + Quests, but not the Stakers bucket). The campaign page shows which buckets each boost affects.
* **Eligibility can change.** If you lose eligibility (for example, you unstake $CGPT), a boost may be removed for future points.
* **Stacking.** Boosts can stack, subject to caps and per-boost logic. Some boosts use "highest wins" (common for mission boosts).

> **Important:** The **Stakers bucket (25%)** is separate from the **Staking Boost**. The Stakers bucket pays a proportional share to registered stakers; the Staking Boost is a multiplier applied to the points you earn in the other buckets.

#### Staking Boost (up to 5×)

Stake **$CGPT** to enable a points multiplier (up to 5×) for Buzz campaigns. Staking also unlocks access to the Stakers bucket (25% of the reward pool, paid proportionally to registered stakers). Eligibility depends on your account status (registration, snapshot timing, geo/KYC where applicable).

**Typical tiers** (illustrative):

* Bronze: **1.02×**
* Silver: **1.20×**
* Gold: **1.50×**
* Diamond: **3.00×**
* 2-Diamond: **5.00×** (cap)

{% hint style="success" %}
**Action:** Stake $CGPT here: <https://pad.chaingpt.org/staking-pools>
{% endhint %}

How the staking boost is calculated (for power users)

Your boost is based on your **Staking Points (SP)** and is often shown in-app as:

```
Staking Boost ≈ SP × 0.00001
```

The boost is capped (up to **5×**). Staking Points grow with both **how much** and **how long** you stake. Longer commitments earn more SP per token.

{% hint style="warning" %}
The exact staking boosts are subject to change. Always check the campaign page for the tiers and multipliers.
{% endhint %}

### Ambassador Boost (up to 1.50×)

[The Ambassador Boost](/our-ecosystem/buzz-by-chaingpt/ambassador-program.md) rewards creators who consistently produce high-quality, dedicated content about the **ChainGPT ecosystem** (ChainGPT, $CGPT, ChainGPT Pad, Buzz). The more original and valuable your content is, the higher your boost can become, up to **1.50×** (**+50% points**).

**Important:** Content that is mainly promoting other projects (even if it tags ChainGPT) doesn't count toward Ambassador Boost. The goal is to reward content that's genuinely about ChainGPT.

<details>

<summary>Typical tiers (example)</summary>

* Member: 1.00×
* Advocate: 1.10×
* Shiller: 1.20×
* Leader: 1.30×
* Ambassador: 1.50× (cap)

Exact thresholds may change as the system is tuned.

#### Loyalty Boost (0.80× to 1.30×)

Loyalty Boost rewards users who continue supporting a project **after its Buzz campaign ends**: repeat participation, continued distribution via Buzz Links, product usage, and general ecosystem engagement. Loyalty creates a **global loyalty score** that affects your multiplier in future campaigns.

* Super loyal users can earn up to **1.30×** (**+30% points**).
* Users who claim rewards and immediately disengage can be penalized down to **0.80×** (**−20% points**) in future campaigns. This does not change rewards already earned for a completed campaign.
* If you don't have any ended campaigns yet, your loyalty status stays **neutral (1.00×)** until there's data.

**Global Loyalty → Multiplier**&#x20;

| Global loyalty label | Multiplier |
| -------------------- | ---------: |
| Not Loyal            |      0.80× |
| Inconsistent         |      0.90× |
| Loyal                |      1.10× |
| Very Loyal           |      1.20× |
| Super Loyal          |      1.30× |

<details>

<summary>How loyalty is measured (simple explanation)</summary>

Loyalty compares your **post-campaign activity** (participation signals across Buzz Links clicks/conversions, completed quests, referrals, and ecosystem engagement) to an expected level based on how active you were during the live campaign. Staying active after the campaign earns partial-to-full credit; disappearing after rewards are claimed lowers your score.

</details>

### Follower Boost (1.10×)

Some campaigns offer a quick verification step (e.g., follow the project's profile and complete the in-app Verify step) that unlocks a **1.10×** boost (**+10% points**). Verification boosts stack with other boosts and may take a few minutes to update after you verify. Availability depends on the campaign.

### KuCoin Boost (1.15×)

Joined Buzz through [KuCoin’s referral link](https://t.co/QktJ6X6uBH)? You’ll unlock a 1.15× boost (+15% points). Once detected, it applies automatically and stacks with your other boosts for future points.

### Custom Action Boost (missions, up to 2.0×)

Some campaigns include **Boost Missions** (also called Quest Boosts or Partner Boosts) that reward specific high-value actions, typically on-chain or in-app quests such as signup, wallet connect, mint, bridge (testnet), swap (testnet), stake, governance participation, or using a key product feature. Completing a mission unlocks a campaign-specific multiplier (typically up to **2.0×**).

* **Applies to future points after completion** (not retroactive).
* **Highest eligible multiplier wins** if multiple missions exist.
* Some missions may have caps or frequency limits shown on the mission card.
* Missions that require a payment are always **optional**. Every campaign provides a no-cost path to earn.

{% hint style="success" %}
Missions are one of the fastest ways to level up: you prove real usage, unlock a strong multiplier, and build a track record across campaigns.
{% endhint %}

### FAQ: boosts

<details>

<summary><strong>Do boosts apply retroactively?</strong></summary>

No. Boosts apply to points earned after the boost becomes active.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Can boosts stack?</strong></summary>

Yes, boosts can stack. Some boosts use “highest wins” logic (like mission boosts), and some may have caps. Each campaign shows the stacking rules that apply.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Which buckets do boosts apply to?</strong></summary>

Each boost defines which buckets it multiplies (e.g., Buzz Links + Quests, or all buckets). The Stakers bucket is usually paid as a proportional share and isn't multiplied by boosts, since it already reflects your stake share directly. The specific rules are shown on the campaign page and in each boost card.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>What if my boost doesn’t update?</strong></summary>

Most boosts update on a timer (often \~10 minutes). Refresh the campaign page and check again after one cycle.

</details>

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Compliance Note:** Buzz boosts and missions are optional campaign features and are not financial advice. Eligibility, multipliers, thresholds, and which buckets each boost applies to can change by campaign and are determined by the campaign rules, integrity checks, and snapshot results. Staking and on-chain mission actions may involve smart contracts and third-party services and can carry risk, including smart contract risk, bridge risk, slippage, and token price volatility. Always review the campaign page and any linked third-party terms before participating.
