Standard IDO (Tiered)
Overview
ChainGPT Pad supports multiple token sale formats. Standard IDO (Tiered) is the traditional ChainGPT Pad launch format where users stake $CGPT to unlock a tier, register for an IDO, and then receive a known allocation before the sale starts.
Unlike Public Sale (Subscription), Standard IDOs are designed around:
Tier-based access
A registration period
An allocation announcement (you know how much you can buy before purchase opens)
Multiple rounds (Guaranteed + FCFS, and sometimes an early Diamond-only window)
Token claiming based on the project’s vesting schedule
What This Format Is (and Is Not)
What it is
Tier-gated: Users qualify by staking $CGPT and reaching a tier (Bronze/Silver/Gold/Diamond).
Registration-based: Users register during a registration window to be included in allocation.
Allocation is announced before purchase: After registration closes, ChainGPT Pad calculates allocations and publishes them.
Round-based sale: A Standard IDO typically has:
(Optional) Diamond Pre-Order / Early Access
Guaranteed Allocation Round
FCFS Round (for leftover allocation)
What it is not
It is not an open sale where anyone can commit unlimited funds at any time.
It is not a pro-rata subscription model where allocations are determined only by total committed amount.
It is not a “join late and still get guaranteed allocation” system—registration timing matters.
Standard IDO vs Public Sale (Subscription)
If you’re deciding which format you’re participating in:
Standard IDO (Tiered)
Requires staking/tier
Has registration
Allocation announced before buying
Guaranteed + FCFS structure
Public Sale (Subscription)
Open to everyone (KYC required)
No registration
Allocation determined after sale ends
Oversubscription may create excess refunds
Stakers may receive boost + lower fees (if applicable)
Eligibility & Requirements
To participate in a Standard IDO (Tiered), you must:
Complete KYC (identity verification)
Stake $CGPT and reach the required tier
Connect a supported wallet
Hold the required purchase currency (shown on the sale page) and enough network gas to submit transactions
Restricted Countries: Participation may be restricted in certain jurisdictions. Refer to the latest restricted country list in ChainGPT documentation.
How Tiers Work (Simple Explanation)
Standard IDOs use staking tiers to reward long-term supporters of the ChainGPT ecosystem.
In general:
You stake $CGPT
You earn tier points
Your tier (Bronze/Silver/Gold/Diamond) determines:
Which rounds you can access
How large your allocation can be relative to others (tier weighting/multipliers)
Important: Tier rules and exact allocation mechanics can vary by campaign. Always follow the sale page rules for that IDO.
End-to-End Standard IDO Flow (A–Z)
Step 1 - Prepare Early: KYC + Stake
Before registration opens, make sure you are ready:
Complete KYC (don’t wait until the last day)
Stake $CGPT to reach your tier
Connect your wallet and confirm you’re using the correct network shown on the sale page
Tip: If you stake right before the snapshot/registration closes, you may miss eligibility depending on campaign rules. Stake early.
Step 2 - IDO Announcement & Sale Page (Pre-Sale)
When an IDO is announced, the sale page will typically show:
Project/token information
Price / rate
Sale schedule (registration dates, round start times)
Accepted purchase currency
Token generation event (TGE) and vesting/claim schedule
Round eligibility rules
Any special conditions (caps, whitelists, etc.)
You can review everything, but you can’t buy yet.
Step 3 - Registration Period (Required for Guaranteed Allocation)

Standard IDOs usually require a registration step.
What registration does
Confirms your intent to participate
Locks in the participant set used to calculate allocations
Enables the platform to publish allocations before purchase begins
What you should do
Register during the registration window shown on the sale page
Make sure your wallet is connected and KYC is approved
Confirm you meet the tier requirements
Step 4 - Allocation Calculation & Announcement (Snapshot)
After registration closes:
ChainGPT Pad takes a snapshot (based on the campaign rules)
The system calculates allocations based on:
Your tier / staking points
Total number of registered participants
Total sale capacity
Then:
Your allocation is announced on the sale page
You will see a clear maximum purchase amount (your cap) before the buying round opens
This is a key difference vs Public Sale (Subscription): you know your allocation in advance.
Step 5 - Sale Rounds

Round 0 (Optional): Diamond Pre-Order / Early Access
Some Standard IDOs include an early access window.
Typical characteristics:
Eligibility: Diamond tier (only)
Purpose: Gives top-tier users early access before the Guaranteed Round opens
Duration: Often a short window (example: ~12 hours), but always follow the sale page timing
If your campaign doesn’t include this round, it will not appear on the sale page.
Round 1: Guaranteed Allocation Round
This is the main round for Standard IDOs.
Typical characteristics:
Eligibility: Tiered users who registered (exact tiers depend on the campaign)
What you can buy: Up to your announced allocation
Duration: Often 24 hours or more (campaign-specific)
Important notes
If you don’t buy during the Guaranteed Round, your unpurchased allocation may become available to others later (typically in FCFS).
Some IDOs can close early if the sale reaches its maximum capacity.
Round 2: FCFS (First Come, First Serve)
FCFS is designed to distribute leftover allocation after the Guaranteed Round.
Typical characteristics:
Eligibility: Defined per campaign (often tiered participants; sometimes requires prior registration)
How it works: First come, first served until the remaining capacity is filled
Outcome: Not guaranteed—speed matters and the round can end quickly if demand is high
Important: If an IDO sells out in earlier rounds, FCFS may be very limited or not happen at all.
Step 6 - After the IDO: Claim Tokens (Vesting)
After the sale ends, users claim their tokens according to the project’s schedule.
What you may see:
TGE unlock (initial claim)
Vesting schedule (additional claims over time)
You may need to claim multiple times over weeks/months, depending on the vesting structure shown on the sale page.
Reminder: Always check the claim schedule and unlock percentages on the campaign page.
Refunds (If Available)
Some Standard IDOs may allow refunds under campaign-specific rules.
If refunds are enabled for an IDO, the sale page will specify:
Whether refunds are available
The refund window (open/close time)
What amount is refundable and under what conditions
Important: Refund rules are campaign-specific. Always follow the sale page.
What You’ll See on the Sale Page
Common labels you’ll see throughout a Standard IDO:
Tier Status (Bronze/Silver/Gold/Diamond)
KYC Status (Approved / Required)
Registration Status (Registered / Not Registered)
Allocation (your purchase cap for Guaranteed Round)
Round Timer (countdown to current/next phase)
Purchased (how much you already bought)
Remaining Allocation (how much you can still buy in that round)
Claimable Now (tokens you can claim today)
Next Unlock (next vesting release)
