Buzz Ultimate FAQ

This FAQ covers the most common questions about Buzz campaigns on ChainGPT Pad, especially the issues Support sees most: tracking, scoring, rank changes, registration, boosts, and rewards.

chevron-rightMy points didn’t update, what should I do first?hashtag

The leaderboard refreshes about every 10 minutes (and can take up to 15 minutes during high traffic), so points may not appear instantly.

If your points still don’t show after a refresh, confirm your post includes at least one required identifier (#ProjectName, $TOKEN, @ProjectHandle, or the campaign Buzz link) and that your X account and post are public.

If everything looks correct but the post still isn’t counted, use “Submit X Post Manually” on the campaign page by pasting your tweet URL.

chevron-rightWhy are my posts not being tracked by the system?hashtag

Most tracking issues come from missing required campaign identifiers (for example #ProjectName, $TOKEN, @ProjectHandle, or the campaign Buzz link), posting within the 8-hour rewarded-post window, or X visibility/indexing issues (sometimes described as “shadowban”). Tracking can also fail if your account is private/protected, your post is deleted, or the post is not publicly visible.

If your post isn’t being detected automatically, use the “Submit X Post Manually” option on the campaign page by pasting your tweet URL. Manual submission helps ensure the system processes your post, but the post still must meet campaign requirements.

chevron-rightWhat is “Submit X Post Manually,” and when should I use it?hashtag

“Submit X Post Manually” is a fallback for posts that should qualify but weren’t detected automatically (most commonly due to X indexing delays or visibility limitations).

Copy the URL of your post, open “Submit X Post Manually” on the campaign page, paste the link, and submit. If your post is eligible, it will be counted during the next scoring cycle.

chevron-rightWhat must I include so my post is detected?hashtag

Every post must include at least one project identifier such as a project hashtag (for example #ProjectName), the token ticker ($TOKEN), the project handle (@ProjectHandle), or the campaign Buzz link.

Posts missing these identifiers often cannot be detected automatically and may not be scored.

chevron-rightWhy aren’t my posts receiving points?hashtag

If your post is visible but earning low/zero points, it usually means one of three things: (1) the post wasn’t eligible (missing required identifiers), (2) the post fell inside the 8-hour rewarded-post window (so it may be tracked but not rewarded), or (3) it received a low score due to the scoring model (low content-quality multiplier, limited organic reach, low-signal engagement, or weak credible follower signals).

Buzz prioritizes quality and organic impact, so one excellent post can outperform many low-effort posts.

chevron-rightHow often can I earn points from posting?hashtag

You can earn points for two rewarded post every 24 hours per project. If you post multiple times within the same 24-hour window, additional posts may still help visibility and mindshare, but they generally won’t earn additional points during that window.

chevron-rightI hit the posting limit, does that mean I should stop posting?hashtag

Not necessarily. You can only earn points on one post every 8 hours per project, but additional posting may still help visibility and mindshare.

If your goal is maximizing points, it’s usually better to draft multiple strong posts and schedule them across the campaign rather than posting repeatedly inside the same 8-hour window.

chevron-rightWhat happens if I post but didn’t register?hashtag

If you post without registering, you may still appear on the leaderboard as INVITE, but you are not eligible at snapshot time unless you register before the Registration & Buzz phase ends.

In other words, posting alone is not enough, registration is required for allocation.

chevron-rightWhat are REGISTERED and INVITE?hashtag

REGISTERED means you have connected your wallet, linked X, and clicked Register, so your points count when the snapshot occurs.

INVITE means you have posted but have not registered yet. INVITE users can appear on the leaderboard but are not eligible for allocation unless they register before the registration window ends.

chevron-rightHow do I know I’m registered?hashtag

When you are properly registered, your status on the leaderboard shows REGISTERED. If you appear as INVITE, it means you have posted but you haven’t registered yet.

chevron-rightWhy did my points and rank drop?hashtag

Points and rank can drop after re-scoring (as new engagement/reach data arrives) or after integrity re-checks remove suspicious, inorganic, deleted posts, or invalid activity. Rank can also change simply because other participants earned more points.

This is expected behavior in a live leaderboard environment.

chevron-rightAre rewards split among all participants, or only among the top of the leaderboard?hashtag

Buzz rewards are typically distributed proportionally based on impact, not only to a small “top N” group. Your share of the Buzzer Pool is calculated from your share of total Buzz Points (BP), so higher BP generally means higher allocation.

Buzz also applies fairness limits, most importantly, no single buzzer can earn more than 5% of the buzzer pool.

chevron-rightDo I have to stake $CGPT to use the Buzz System?hashtag

No. You can participate and earn Buzz Points without staking.

Staking $CGPT is optional, but it provides two advantages: it gives you eligibility for the Staker Pool (additional rewards in Buzzdrops without even buzzing), and it can increase your Buzz Points multiplier, helping you climb the leaderboard faster.

chevron-rightDo I need to KYC to join Buzz campaigns?hashtag

No, KYC is not required to join Buzz campaigns (Buzzdrops). Some other campaign types (for example IBOs) may require KYC; always check the campaign page.

chevron-rightWhich countries are restricted or geo-blocked from participating?hashtag

Buzzdrops are geo-blocked by IP in certain jurisdictions for compliance reasons.

Restricted regions currently include: Algeria, Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Iraq, Morocco, Nepal, Tunisia; sanctioned jurisdictions Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Crimea/Donetsk/Luhansk (Ukraine); and additional blocked markets United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Hong Kong.

VPN blocking is enforced, and attempts to bypass restrictions may result in disqualification.

chevron-rightCan I participate if my X account is private?hashtag

No. Your X account must be public for Buzz to track eligible posts and award points.

chevron-rightWhy is my Smart Follower count not increasing, or why do other platforms show more Smart Followers?hashtag

Smart Follower metrics do not always update instantly and may refresh on a schedule. Different platforms also use different definitions and filters for “smart” or “quality” followers, so numbers often don’t match.

Buzz’s model is designed to weight credible, high-signal followers more heavily and filter out low-quality or bot-like followers, which can make the count appear more conservative. If you want to refresh your smart followers / followers count immediately, click the “Refresh” button on any Buzz page in the “My Stats” field.

chevron-rightAre points based only on the number of Smart Followers?hashtag

No. Smart Followers contribute to scoring, but Buzz Points also depend heavily on content quality (including an AI-reviewed multiplier), organic reach, engagement quality, media/mention bonuses, staking boost, account age, total followers, and integrity filters.

If a post looks “good” but scores low, it’s usually because its organic performance or quality classification was weaker than expected, or it didn’t align strongly with the campaign brief.

chevron-rightHow are Buzz Points calculated?hashtag

Buzz Points are designed to reward quality over quantity. Posts are evaluated based on whether they include required identifiers, their reach and engagement quality, and the credibility signals of your account (including Smart Followers and verified follower signals).

Buzz also applies bonuses such as mentions and media, and it uses integrity checks to remove spam, bots, and suspicious activity.

chevron-rightHow does content quality affect scoring?hashtag

Buzz uses an AI-reviewed content-quality multiplier ranging from 0× to 2×. Spam or repetitive posts can receive 0×, extremely low-effort or off-topic posts can receive 0.25×, and generic/template content—including Buzz-button-style posts—can be classified as 0.5×.

Normal acceptable posts score around 1×, thoughtful high-quality posts can score 1.5×, and original, insightful posts that genuinely engage the community can score up to 2×. Writing in your own voice and adding real substance is one of the biggest drivers of higher points.

chevron-rightWhy do “good posts” sometimes get few points?hashtag

A post can look good to you but still score low if it is classified as generic/template-like, if it does not align closely with the campaign narrative, if its organic reach is limited, or if engagement is filtered as low-signal or inorganic.

Buzz is built to reward posts that generate authentic attention and credible engagement, not just activity volume.

chevron-rightHow do boosts work (overview), and how do I unlock them?hashtag

Boosts are multipliers that can increase your points. Some boosts are global (apply across campaigns), while others are campaign-specific.

Common ways to unlock boosts include staking $CGPT, posting dedicated ChainGPT content (Ambassador), maintaining post-campaign activity (Loyalty), following and verifying a project (Follower), or completing project-defined missions (Custom Actions). Your campaign page and “My Stats” panel show which boosts you currently have and their multipliers.

chevron-rightWhat is the Staking Boost and how does it work?hashtag

Staking Boost rewards users who stake $CGPT. Your staking boost multiplier is based on your Staking Points (SP) and is capped at 5×. In-app you’ll see a formula similar to: staking boost multiplier = (your staking points × 0.00001).

chevron-rightWhat is the Ambassador Boost and how does it work?hashtag

Ambassador Boost rewards consistent, high-quality posts about the ChainGPT ecosystem (ChainGPT brand, $CGPT, ChainGPT Pad, Buzz, and related ecosystem products). Campaign-focused “Buzzdrop shill” posts about external projects (even if they tag ChainGPT) generally do not count.

A post typically qualifies if it is clearly about ChainGPT (or $CGPT / Buzz / ChainGPT Pad), contains original text (not a pure retweet), is not a near-duplicate of your recent posts, and is not classified as spam. The system evaluates your qualifying posts over a rolling 90-day window, with recency weighting (recent posts count more) and daily anti-spam limits (only the first post per 24 hours counts at full value; additional posts diminish).

chevron-rightWhat is the Loyalty Boost and how does it work?hashtag

Loyalty Boost measures whether you keep posting about a project after its Buzz campaign ends. It creates a per-campaign loyalty score (0–100) and a global loyalty score (0–100, averaged across campaigns). Your global score determines a LoyaltyBoost multiplier that applies to scoring in any campaign.

A loyalty post must (1) be within the project’s post-campaign loyalty window, (2) include at least one project identifier (#ProjectName, $Ticker, @ProjectHandle, or the campaign Buzz link), and (3) not be classified as spam (spam is excluded).

How the score is calculated (per campaign):

L = number of qualified posts you made while the campaign was live.

E = expected number of post-campaign posts, based on L:

Expected loyalty posts (E)

1–6

1

7–15

2

16–30

3

31–60

4

5 (cap)

A = number of qualified posts you made after the campaign ended (during the loyalty window).

Per-campaign score = round(100 × min(A / E, 1.0)). If A ≥ E, you score 100. Partial activity scores proportionally (for example, A=1 with E=3 → 33).

Global loyalty is the average of your non-null per-campaign scores. If you have no ended campaigns yet, Loyalty is shown as pending (“TBA”) and applies a neutral 1.00×.

chevron-rightWhat is the Follower Boost and how does it work?hashtag

Follower Boost rewards users who follow the project and complete the in-app verification step.

To unlock it, follow the project and click “Verify” (Step #1). Once verified, you receive a 1.10× multiplier for that campaign (as shown in your “My Stats” panel).

chevron-rightWhat is the Custom Action Boost (Boost Missions) and how does it work?hashtag

Some campaigns include project-defined “Boost Missions” (Custom Actions) that reward users who actually use the project’s product (for example stake, bridge, mint, trade, or complete a specific on-chain action).

When your wallet completes a mission, the project’s API reports your wallet and Buzz applies a mission multiplier (1.0×–2.0×) for that campaign. The system checks mission endpoints about every 10 minutes, so it can take a short time to update.

Custom Action Boost is not retroactive: it applies only to points earned after your wallet first qualifies. If you qualify for multiple missions, the system uses the highest mission multiplier for that campaign.

chevron-rightDo images/videos perform better, and are they required?hashtag

Images and videos are not required, but they can add points when they are relevant and genuinely valuable—such as screenshots of the product, short demos, charts, or explainers that complement your text. Random or low-value media is unlikely to help; meaningful media that improves clarity tends to perform best.

chevron-rightI used the Buzz button, why did I earn fewer points?hashtag

Buzz-button tweets are convenient but are commonly classified as AI-generated/template content and typically receive a lower content-quality multiplier (often 0.5×). If you want higher points, write in your own words, add specific insights, and include meaningful media when appropriate.

chevron-rightDo replies, retweets, quote-posts, or threads count?hashtag

Replies and retweets do not count. Threads and quote posts can count if they include qualifying tags/identifiers and follow campaign rules. Long-form posts are supported as well.

chevron-rightCan I tag multiple campaigns in one post?hashtag

Yes, you can tag multiple campaigns in one post. To avoid tracking issues, include the required identifiers for each campaign you want it to count toward.

Keep in mind that posting limits (like the 8-hour rewarded-post window) still apply per project, and the system may consider a post spam if it doesn’t make sense or is overly tag-stuffed.

chevron-rightCan I edit or delete my post after it’s tracked?hashtag

If you delete a tracked post, points from that post may be removed. If you edit a tracked post, it may be rescored or become untrackable depending on how the post updates on X and whether it still meets the campaign’s detection requirements.

chevron-rightHow do I change my X (Twitter) account, and will I lose progress?hashtag

In most cases, yes—you will lose progress. Points and eligibility are tied to the specific X account you used when you registered, and points generally cannot be migrated between X accounts.

If you disconnected an X account from a wallet and then connected that same X account to a new wallet, your points from that X account will reflect in the new wallet.

chevron-rightWhat data is stored when I connect my X account?hashtag

Buzz stores what it needs to verify posts and calculate scoring—typically your X user ID/handle and public profile info, tweet IDs/links, follower counts and scoring metadata (including Smart/Verified follower signals), campaign participation status, and your connected wallet address for distribution.

X is connected via OAuth; Buzz does not store your X password.

chevron-rightWhen do I receive rewards?hashtag

Rewards are calculated after the campaign ends during the Snapshot & Allocation phase, and tokens become claimable after TGE according to the campaign’s vesting schedule. The exact timing depends on the project and campaign rules.

chevron-rightWhat happens if I miss the snapshot?hashtag

Only REGISTERED users count when the snapshot occurs and the leaderboard freezes. If you register after the snapshot or earn points after it, those points will not grant allocation in that campaign.

chevron-rightDo I need to do anything to claim?hashtag

In most cases, yes. You must remain eligible (registered, not disqualified by integrity checks), and you must claim according to the campaign’s claim process.

Some campaign types (such as IBOs) require KYC before claiming.

chevron-rightHow are rewards split between stakers and buzzers?hashtag

Every campaign splits rewards 50% to stakers and 50% to buzzers. The staker pool is distributed based on Staking Points (SP), and the buzzer pool is distributed based on Buzz Points (BP).

You can participate in both pools by staking and buzzing in the same campaign.

chevron-rightHow is buzzer allocation calculated?hashtag

Buzzer allocation is proportional to your share of total Buzz Points in the campaign, following the formula (Your BP ÷ Total BP) × Buzzer Pool. Allocation is subject to campaign caps; most importantly, no single buzzer can earn more than 5% of the buzzer pool.

chevron-rightHow is staker allocation calculated?hashtag

Staker allocation is proportional to your share of total Staking Points, following the formula (Your SP ÷ Total SP) × Staker Pool. Staking Points are influenced by how much and how long you stake.

chevron-rightDo boosts apply retroactively?hashtag

No. Boosts apply only to posts and points moving forward. Unlocking a boost will not retroactively change points you have already earned.

chevron-rightDo my posts need to be in English? Are all languages allowed?hashtag

All languages are allowed. However, you must include the required campaign tags/mentions/keywords exactly as shown on the campaign page so the system can detect and score your post.

Your content is still analyzed based on quality, organic reach, and follower signals regardless of language.

chevron-rightWhat is the minimum account age or follower requirement?hashtag

There is no fixed minimum requirement. Your points are based on content quality and the organic reach of your account and posts, as well as follower quality signals.

If your content is spammy, or your account has no organic reach or credible follower signals, your posts may score very low (or receive no points).

chevron-rightHow do I join a Buzz campaign?hashtag

Go to the campaign page on ChainGPT Pad, connect a supported EVM wallet (this wallet receives rewards), link your X account via OAuth, and click Register.

After registering, start completing tasks (posting, referrals, community tasks, product usage tasks if enabled) and earn points throughout the Buzz period.

chevron-rightWhat does the leaderboard show?hashtag

The leaderboard displays your rank and key stats such as Buzz Points, rewarded post count, follower breakdown (total, smart, verified), referrals, boost multiplier, and your registration status. Because updates happen roughly every 10 minutes, it’s normal for scores to lag briefly after posting.

chevron-rightHow does the referral program work?hashtag

Buzz campaigns can reward you for growing the community via a unique referral link on the campaign page. When someone registers and participates using your link, you can earn a share of their impact.

Typical ranges (campaign-dependent) include 10–20% of referrals’ Buzz Points, 10–20% of referrals’ Staking Points, and 0.5–1% of net platform spend (non-refunded USDC), plus potential bonuses for converting INVITE users into REGISTERED. Referral credit can last up to 12 months, depending on campaign rules.

chevron-rightAre points the same as tokens?hashtag

No. Buzz Points are an internal scoring unit used to rank participants and calculate allocation within a campaign. They are not tokens, are not transferable, and are not a guarantee of payout.

chevron-rightWhat is Buzz?hashtag

Buzz is ChainGPT Pad’s next-gen launch engine for Web3 projects. Buzzers connect their wallet and X account, register for a campaign, and complete tasks that drive awareness and real adoption—such as posting original content, joining communities, using the project’s product (when available), and “buzzing” on ranking platforms—earning points that determine allocation.

chevron-rightWhat is a Buzzdrop campaign?hashtag

A Buzzdrop is a time-limited campaign where participants earn allocation opportunities based on performance. Campaigns define what to do (tasks and posting requirements), how points are scored, what boosts exist, and how rewards are distributed.

chevron-rightWhat are the campaign phases?hashtag

Most campaigns follow three phases. First is Registration & Buzz (typically 10–90 days), when you connect wallet, link X, register, and earn points; the live leaderboard refreshes roughly every 10 minutes. Second is Snapshot & Allocation (typically a few days), when the leaderboard freezes and allocations are calculated. Third is Claim, which happens after TGE, when tokens become claimable according to the campaign’s vesting schedule.

chevron-rightWhat are mindshare and sentiment?hashtag

Mindshare represents the share of overall conversation mentioning the project across tracked channels, and sentiment reflects the tone of discussion (positive/neutral/negative) as measured by AI analysis. These metrics typically update daily and are used to help projects evaluate campaign momentum.
