# For Buzzers: Win the Leaderboard

{% hint style="info" %}
Buzz rewards real impact. To climb the leaderboard, drive verified outcomes: qualified clicks and conversions from your Buzz Links, completed on-chain and in-app quests, staking share, and referrals.
{% endhint %}

### The Leaderboard

The leaderboard is the pulse of a Buzz campaign. It shows your ranking, your points across each bucket, and the outcomes you've driven. Projects use it to see who's moving the needle in real time.

### What the leaderboard shows

* **Rank:** your current position among all participants in the campaign.
* **Wallet:** your wallet address (wallet-first identity).
* **Connected socials (optional):** icons for any socials you've linked to your profile, for cosmetic display.
* **Impact Score:** your total across all buckets.
* **Qualified Clicks:** human sessions driven by your Buzz Links (bot, VPN, and proxy traffic is excluded or scored to zero).
* **Referrals:** points earned through your referral overlay (10–20% of the exact points your referrals earn, per bucket).
* **In-app Points:** your points from verified in-app quests.
* **On-chain Points:** your points from verified on-chain quests.
* **Total Quests Completed:** a rollup of quests you've finished.
* **Boosts:** any active boosts you've unlocked (staking, ambassador, loyalty, campaign missions, where applicable).
* **Status:** **REGISTERED** (eligible), **Pending** (action under verification), or **Flagged** (under integrity review)

Leaderboards and dashboards update regularly throughout the campaign. Your points across buckets are tracked in an auditable ledger.

## Step 0: Do this first (or your points won’t count)

To be eligible for allocation, you must:

1. Connect your **wallet** (this wallet receives rewards) here: <https://pad.chaingpt.org/>
2. Click **Register** (status becomes **REGISTERED**)

That's it. Social accounts (X, Telegram, etc.) are **optional** and are not required to earn or to be eligible. You can link them from your profile for cosmetic display and feed previews.

If you take campaign actions without registering, you may show as **INVITE** and will not receive allocation at snapshot time.

### How to earn points (the four buckets + referrals)

In Buzz, points come from **verified outcomes**, not from posting on any single platform. Each campaign can enable up to four buckets plus a Referrals overlay.

#### Buzz Links (default 40%)

Grab your **unique Buzz Links** for each campaign destination (landing page, app, community, etc.) and share them anywhere your audience lives. You earn when your links generate:

* **Qualified clicks** (real human sessions).
* **Verified conversions** (project-defined actions like signup, wallet connect, download).

Rules of the road:

* Your links are unique to your wallet. Always share your own links (don't reuse someone else's).
* Only real human traffic counts. Bots, VPNs, proxies, and farms are excluded or scored to zero.
* Qualified clicks may be weighted by country. Some markets earn higher multipliers than others.
* IP and device caps apply to prevent farming.
* Better content drives more clicks. Focus on being genuinely useful (guides, reviews, tutorials, demos).

#### $CGPT Stakers (default 25%)

Stake **$CGPT** and register for the campaign to earn a proportional share of the Stakers bucket. No content or quests required.

* Your share of the Stakers pool = your staking points / total staking points of all registered stakers.
* Staking can also unlock a **boost multiplier** that applies to your points in other buckets (where enabled by the campaign).
* Staking is an ecosystem alignment lane. You can earn in this bucket passively.

#### On-chain Quests (default 20%)

Complete verified on-chain actions the campaign defines, such as:

* Mint a free badge NFT.
* Bridge test tokens.
* Swap on testnet.
* Deposit or provide liquidity (subject to hold-time verification).
* Participate in governance (vote, delegate).
* Complete transaction milestones or contract deployments on testnet.

Points settle after the event is verified on-chain. Some tasks (like deposits/LP) have a **hold-time** before points confirm.

#### In-app Quests (default 15%)

Complete verified in-product actions inside the partner project, such as:

* Signup or register.
* Connect your wallet.
* Complete the onboarding tutorial.
* Use a key feature.
* Return on day 2, 3, or 7 (retention milestones).
* Invite a friend who activates.

Verification happens through the project's webhooks or SDK.

#### Referrals (10–20% overlay)

Share your **referral link**. You earn **10–20% of the exact points** your referrals earn, credited in the **same bucket(s)** they earn in.

* Activation starts after the invited user passes a minimum gate (e.g., register + first qualified action).
* Referrals are one-level only (no multi-tier).
* Caps and integrity controls apply to reduce farming.

> Any task that requires a payment is always **optional**. Every campaign provides a no-cost path to participate.

### How scoring works (high level)

Your Impact Score across buckets reflects things like:

* **Qualified clicks** (human sessions passing session quality and integrity checks).
* **Verified conversions** (project-defined actions confirmed via postback).
* **On-chain event verification** (indexer or stream checks, with hold-time where applicable).
* **In-app event verification** (server-side webhooks or SDK events).
* **Stake share** among registered stakers.
* **Integrity filters** (anti-sybil, bot mitigation, VPN/proxy de-weighting, wallet quality scoring, IP/device caps, anomaly review).
* **Boosts** you have unlocked (staking, campaign missions, loyalty, ambassador, where applicable).

*Automated verification and integrity checks may occasionally delay point settlement; campaign rules and snapshot results determine final points.*

{% hint style="success" %}
**Pro tip:** One real user who signs up through your Buzz Link can outperform hundreds of empty clicks. Focus on driving **conversions**, not just traffic.
{% endhint %}

### Content, the Buzz Feed & "What qualifies"

Content in Buzz is a **distribution amplifier**, not a points-earning task on its own. You earn from the traffic and conversions your content drives via your Buzz Links.

When you submit a content URL (post, article, video) to the **Buzz Feed**, other users can discover it. When someone clicks "View" from the feed, the outbound click routes through your tracked link, so feed-driven traffic can compound your Buzz Links points and conversions.

#### Submission rules for the Buzz Feed

A submission can appear in the Buzz Feed if it is:

* A **dedicated post** (no replies, no comments).
* **Public** and still live (not deleted).
* Posted during the **campaign window**.
* Includes at least **one qualifying tag** (e.g., **#ProjectName**, **$TOKEN**, **@ProjectHandle**) **or** at least **one of your Buzz Links**. Best practice: include both.

Campaigns may configure these rules (some require tag + link). Always check the campaign page.

#### Languages

All languages are allowed. Just make sure the required tags are included exactly as listed on the campaign page.

#### Media: do images and videos help?

Media isn't required, but **relevant** media helps drive clicks (screenshots, demos, short clips, charts, explainers). Random low-value media usually won't help you earn more.

#### Where to distribute

Buzz Links work anywhere. Share where your audience actually lives. Good places to consider:

CoinMarketCap Community, Reddit, Telegram (public channels/groups), Discord, Threads, Instagram (link in bio), TikTok (video or bio link), YouTube (description or pinned comment), Medium, Binance Square, LinkedIn, Facebook, WhatsApp, Line, WeChat, crypto forums (e.g., Bitcointalk), and other crypto-friendly communities.

### The content playbook (patterns that drive clicks)

#### Pattern 1: Hands-on review (highest leverage)

Explain what you tried, show proof (screenshot/clip), share one insight, include your Buzz Link, and add a clear next step: "try it here."

#### Pattern 2: Mini explainer series

* Post 1: what it is.
* Post 2: why it matters.
* Post 3: how to try it (your Buzz Link).
* Post 4: your honest take (no price talk).

#### Pattern 3: Comparison

Compare the project with 1–2 alternatives on one dimension: UX, cost, speed, security assumptions, or target users. Link to the project via your Buzz Link.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Avoid price targets, "to the moon" hype, and financial advice. These tend to underperform and can violate content standards.
{% endhint %}

### A repeatable 7‑day plan

* Day 1: Register + grab your Buzz Links + complete the easiest free in-app quests (signup, connect wallet, onboarding).
* Day 2: Quick "what/why" explainer with your Buzz Link. Share across 2–3 platforms.
* Day 3: Demo with proof (screenshot or short clip). Complete an on-chain quest if one is available (start with free/testnet).
* Day 4: Comparison or deep-dive post. Drop your referral link in your bio or pinned comment.
* Day 5: Complete any remaining quests. Submit your best content URLs to the Buzz Feed for extra distribution.
* Day 6: Answer questions and post follow-ups. Check your Buzz Links analytics: which destinations are converting best?
* Day 7: Summary post (who it's for + key takeaways) + invite others via your referral link.

### Boosts (how to multiply your score)

Boosts stack with your earned points and can meaningfully change outcomes. Common boosts include staking, ambassador, loyalty, and campaign-specific missions. Boosts typically apply to points earned after activation (not retroactive). See **Boosts & Missions** for the full breakdown.

### If a click, conversion, or submission isn't counted

1. Check that you shared **your own** Buzz Link (unique to your wallet).
2. Confirm the click wasn't filtered as bot, VPN, proxy, or data-center traffic.
3. For on-chain/in-app quests, allow time for verification. Some tasks have **hold-time** before points confirm.
4. For content in the Buzz Feed, confirm your submission includes at least one required tag or one Buzz Link, is a dedicated post (not a reply), and is still public.
5. If a submission shows **Needs Fix**, follow the inline reason (missing tag, missing link, not a post, etc.) and resubmit.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Compliance Note:** Nothing on this page is financial advice or a recommendation to acquire any crypto-asset. Participation does not guarantee allocation or rewards. Eligibility and final outcomes are determined by the campaign rules, integrity checks, and snapshot results.
