About the Role – Sr. InfoSec Engineer

As a Senior InfoSec Engineer, you will be instrumental in securing the backbone of ChainGPT’s AI and blockchain-driven infrastructure. You’ll lead efforts to protect our advanced decentralized tools, ensuring sensitive data's integrity, confidentiality, and availability. This is a key role, working closely with cross-functional teams to embed security into every aspect of our development lifecycle, proactively identifying vulnerabilities, and leading the charge in incident response and threat mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement advanced security measures to protect AI and blockchain infrastructures.

  • Oversee incident response protocols, including vulnerability management, threat hunting, and digital forensics.

  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and blockchain-specific security standards.

  • Perform security audits, penetration testing, and code reviews to maintain security across decentralized networks.

  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate robust security practices in CI/CD pipelines.

  • Manage SIEM systems, intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), and firewalls to monitor for suspicious activity.

  • Lead the response to security incidents, providing real-time analysis and mitigation strategies.

  • Educate and mentor the development team on best security practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in information security engineering, including hands-on experience with network security, SIEM systems, and penetration testing.

  • Familiar with Metaspolit, OWASP, BURP Suite, Nmap, W3AF, SQLMap

  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or C++ for automating security tasks.

  • Familiarity with blockchain security protocols and smart contract auditing tools.

  • Strong experience in cloud security (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

  • Expertise in implementing data encryption, VPNs, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and zero-trust architectures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, GIAC, or OSCP.

  • Experience in AI-driven cybersecurity tools and understanding of machine learning concepts.

  • Hands-on experience with blockchain-based technologies (smart contracts, consensus algorithms, etc.).

  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, or NIST standards.

  2. Employment Structure:

    1. Contractor Status: All positions are offered on a contractor basis. As such, individuals will be responsible for their tax obligations in accordance with local, state, and federal law. We recommend consulting with a tax advisor to ensure compliance.

  3. Compensation:

    1. Cryptocurrency Payments: Compensation is provided in cryptocurrency (USDT BEP20) to align with our company's focus on blockchain technology. Payments are issued bi-monthly, on the 1st and 16th of each month.

  4. Probationary Period:

    1. Initial Assessment: All new hires will undergo a 60-day probationary period to ensure mutual compatibility. During this time, both the employee and ChainGPT can evaluate the employment relationship.
