About the Role – Web2/Web3 Lead
As Web2/Web3 Lead at ChainGPT, you'll lead our product development efforts, steering our in-house products and evolving our tech stack to meet the dynamic needs of our community. We ship weekly, and you'll be at the forefront of our innovation. You should have worked in Web2/ Web3 and be reasonably familiar with the AI/ LLMs and generative AI.
Key Responsibilities
Guide the development team in architecting and scaling our products, leveraging our React, NodeJS, and AWS stack.
Look at and evaluate new and existing frameworks like Express, Nest, Koa, Fastify, etc., and learn how to integrate them.
Craft detailed requirements documentation, translating product vision into actionable weekly, monthly, and quarterly OKRs for the dev team.
Analyze data to drive product improvements and optimize our development processes for rapid deployment.
Hands-on experience with technologies Like React JS, NodeJS, and blockchain (Solidity/ EVM).
Understanding of API design and infrastructure scaling
Knowledge of secure programming practices and clean code.
Experience with other blockchains (Solana, Algorand)
Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment between engineering efforts and overall company goals.
Requirements
Strong technical background with a product-oriented mindset
You should have extensive experience with NextJS, Express, TypeScript, TypeORM, Loadash, sockets, KafkaJS, etc.
Should have worked and designed event-driven architectures and the ability to scale them
Proven track record of building and shipping successful products
Experience managing and mentoring engineering teams
Excellent collaboration and team-building skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
Thrives in a startup environment and comfortable wearing multiple hats
Passion for Web3 and developer education
A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is required.
Advanced knowledge or certifications in Blockchain Technologies, Web3 Development, or AWS are highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience leading Web2/Web3 product development teams, particularly within blockchain and AI sectors.
Strong expertise in smart contract development and decentralized application (dApp) frameworks.
Knowledge of DeFi protocols, cryptocurrency markets, and tokenomics.
Strong experience with blockchain platforms like BNB Chain & EVM Chains.
Familiarity with AWS or other cloud infrastructure for scaling blockchain-based applications.
Strong communication skills, focusing on cross-functional collaboration and mentoring engineering teams.

Employment Structure:
Contractor Status: All positions are offered on a contractor basis. As such, individuals will be responsible for their tax obligations in accordance with local, state, and federal law. We recommend consulting with a tax advisor to ensure compliance.
Compensation:
Cryptocurrency Payments: Compensation is provided in cryptocurrency (USDT BEP20) to align with our company's focus on blockchain technology. Payments are issued bi-monthly, on the 1st and 16th of each month.
Probationary Period:
Initial Assessment: All new hires will undergo a 60-day probationary period to ensure mutual compatibility. During this time, both the employee and ChainGPT can evaluate the employment relationship.
